Paisley Maxi Dress

I helped my lovely neighbour to fullfill her dream of a romantic maxi-dress with a historical touch.

We went together to Komolka in Vienna and bought a beautiful Paisley fabric.

We used the patterns from Burda 8/2016 No. 117 and 118.
The sleeves of No. 117 and the skirt of No. 118, but without the frills

After cutting out the fabric, I made the piping for the top. I simply reused an old piping I had in my stash.
The rest of the dress was actually straightforward. The piping, which goes around the corners in the front part, requires a little more concentration. But I think, I managed it quite well. In addition, I attached handbound belt loops and sewed a matching belt.

Und das fertige Kleid :)
